Don't let the small size fool you, the Jet Stream is deadly against striking species large and small. The jet stream can be trolled with a single hook but is most effective as a skirt on a rigged ballyhoo. The small size leaves much of the bait (and the hook!) exposed, greatly reducing the number of short strikes. The shiny mylar foil strips reflect over 95% of sunlight back into the water catching the eye of predators from far below. The jet head protects the bait and generates a stream of bubbles that helps fish follow the bait and obscures their view of the line and hook, making them more likely to strike.
